Why do people want to learn foreign languages? Why do people want to study English? Is is for pleasure? Is it because they want to understand Shakespeare? Maybe they want to get a better job. There are a number of different reasons for language study and the following list (which is not exhaustive) will give an idea of the great variety of such reasons.

i think that in the youngest ages, students learn english because is an obbligation (school curriculum) (at least the majority), but it's an obligation of the teacher try to the student loves to learn it, for the future, student continues to learn a new language, because he/she wannas, he/she needs, and he/she uses it

I think that in the students learn English for their School curriculum and other people to have expectations of a work better. But the greatest people don't study for pleasure to the language.
but to learn a second language helps to the intellectual and cultural growth.

I think that some persons english learn because their should have a opportunity work best and others for an obligattion for example the students in the school.
Nowadays the society demands it that the people learn a foreigh language in this case english.
In the process of teaching-learning, each person has his/her own ways to learn a second language and this is related with skills and capacities in which they better act.
On the other hand, the role of the professor is essential in the process of teaching of the student; because should be a suitable person with great ideas, knowledge and furthermore should know your own native language where the professor is teaching, so will be more easily the explication for the students.
I think that at least the majority of the youngest students learn English because is an obligation (school curriculum), but it's an obligation of the teacher to get his/her students love learning it, in order that they continue learning the new language in the future, because they wantto, they need it, and they are using it.
